   We recently returned to The Collins for Easter lunch after having a memorable dinner there on a previous occasion. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet our expectations. While the service was satisfactory, the food quality fell short. I ordered the rotisserie chicken with loaded smashed potatoes. The chicken breast was surprisingly dry and lacked depth of flavor, and the bacon bits in the potatoes were overly hard and unappetizing. My son had the club sandwich and similarly noted that the bacon was difficult to eat and lacked flavor. My husband opted for the tuna dish, which he had been looking forward to, but he felt it was bland and reminded him of tofu in texture and taste. The one highlight of the meal was the cauliflower side dish, which was flavorful and well-prepared. Unfortunately, it was not enough to redeem the overall dining experience. Given the disparity between this visit and our previous one, we do not plan to return.

   The food lived up to the expectations. I ate French onion soup, prime rib and cauliflower. My husband enjoyed the chef special ribeye and loaded baked potato.

   The Brussels sprouts are really good. I like the salads too. Prices have gone up though. A salad with protein on it that is between $24 and $28 is too expensive for lunch.

   So nice compared to all the chain restaurants, We were visiting with friends and wasn’t interrupted by staff, they did their job well. Will definitely go back for celebrating an event! Parking was great!

    We ordered a pizza that was fairly greasy. The salad with noodles and shrimp was amazing. Cocktails were tasty. Service was frustrating, sat with dirty dishes for over 15 minutes, restaurant was not busy at this time at all. Finally asked hostess if our waiter could come and take a drink order and take away the dirty dishes.
