   The atmosphere is awesome. We sat right by the fireplace, and they ended up lighting it before we left. It’s a good spot for a date. The chicken quesadillas were very good - lots of flavor.

   We came by on a Saturday night at 6:30 and it was pretty quiet - maybe 4 tables sat in the whole restaurant when we sat down. It took quite a while to even get our menus and then again quite a while to get someone to take our order. We were served by a Julio, who seemed to be the manager. Absolutely terrible service from him as he basically ignored us the entire time. Not only did he not check on our order, it took a long time to get us our drinks and he didn’t even deliver the food - someone else did. He didn’t check on us the entire meal and we had to basically gesticulate dramatically to get someone’s attention to order more food. I had ordered Baja fish tacos, which were good but Julio didn’t even mention that they were tiny and didn’t advise or ask if I wanted to order something else along with it. Eventually we managed to flag down a really nice lady who I think was bartending and she suggested the mushroom tacos, which were really good. Throughout the meal, no one asked if we wanted another cocktail or drink. And finally we asked about dessert and he told us the two options to which we said we would take a couple of minutes to decide. Again, another 10 minutes, no service and no checking up to see if we wanted dessert. At that point we gave up and just got the check - that took another 7+ min during which I saw Julio on a cell phone, walking around and standing at the bar, basically anything but getting our check. Honestly the food was pretty good and the restaurant is cute and cocktails were nice. Just terrible service from Julio despite there being only 6-7 tables by the time we left, and 3 servers. I guess that explains why on a Saturday night in Malibu there were so few people around?

   More of a bar. The food offerings were good but very small. Small bites and very limited menu. Also, felt like a place you would go in the heat of the summer.

   We are local, and this is the 2nd time we have been here. We enjoyed it very much. The quesadilla was great; the branzino was great; drinks are good; nice vibe. Will definitely keep going back

   We loved this place! Really great vibe; especially for happy hour. Went there for a date night with my husband, and we loved the food; especially the branzino tacos. The owner was there and very friendly. He had a large party to deal with; but, made sure we were comfortable. The service was great, and we enjoyed everything we ate. We're locals, and they do a locals discount which was also very nice. Will definitely go back.

    Food was good but the service was very poor. Completely understaffed and those that were working would just walk by pretending not to notice...hope they fix this as Malibu is starving for a good restaurant!
