I booked a table for a family birthday meal especially as my daughter is vegan and I was told that there is a good vegan selection to choose from. However when we went to order at the bar we found that everything that we had chosen wasn't available. We didn't want anything else from the limited availability so left after drinks.

What no Soul Food ! Pizzas instead and a few smaller sharing/side dishes, which were all delicious. The staff said the menu will start to grow and change over the coming weeks, so hopefully some favourites might sneak back in, I hope so ! Still a great spot though.

I had the Catfish Po-Boy whilst my fellow eater had the Gulf Coast Gumbo; both were excellent. Really tasty and sizeable portions. The accompanying breads made by Peel and Stone were delicious too. Atmosphere really laid back, with great choice of beers and cocktails - definitely worth a visit!

All of my friends are big meat eaters but I am a vegan so sometimes it’s hard trying to find somewhere that suits everyone. Not anymore!!! The menu was really great, the meat dishes that arrived were massive and my friends raved about the ribs especially which were 241 that night. The vegan burger was honestly the best burger I’d had in a very long time. Totally loved it, will definitely go back

This venue was a great find in an area greatly lacking in eateries. The food was so tasty we went back the following day for more, the sun was shining so we had drinks on the roof terrace first. Good value, great experience all round.

Sudanese BBQ on a sunny Sunday afternoon just brilliant. Staff all lovely and friendly definitely worth the train ride to the jewellery Quarter. Would definitely recommend for something a bit different to the usual Sunday fayre.
