   Really great roast - good portion size. Couldn’t fault it at all - it was the best roast we have had out in ages. Service was also good and drinks really reasonably priced. We will 100% be returning!

   Great value and great service. The set menu was very generous with good size portions and lots of flavour. High quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation.

   In a great setting and with a varied menu to choose from, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Chequers Inn. Fantastic, tasty food at affordable prices and it was served and presented very well by the team. We would wholeheartedly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed!

   Lovely ambience, good choice of food, especially of different kinds of burgers - l had halloumi and my friend had the chicken breast burger, both with delicious homemade coleslaw and triple cooked chunky chips - a real treat!

   The specials were very unusual and interesting. My swordfish with wholemeal noodles and Thai paint was excellent. My wife requested vegetables rather than chips with her burger, which the chef was happy to provide.

   Excellent Sunday roast! Opted for the roast beef! Plenty of meat, perfect roast potatoes and delicious veg. The Yorkshire’s were 👌

   Second visit to eat since The Chequers reopened. Good meal in a relaxed environment, and excellent service. Will be back.

   sadly there was only one chef on but the food that was served was fanatastic. I really couldn't reccomened the pub enoguh, great food & lovely staff . well done

    The service had slightly improved since our visit earlier this month but could still be better. Mixed opinions on the food, two enjoyed, two didn’t. The worst meal being the fish n chips, the fish was soggy.
