   Excellent choice for Easter Brunch and birthday celebration. The cheese board appetizer was spectacular and our our main meal was delicious. Three of us had Eggs Benedict and one enjoyed Crab Cake Benedict. Top it off with your White Chocolate Bread pudding and the meal was amazing. Our wait staff was very helpful and friendly. Some of us had enjoyed the ChalkBoard about 20 years ago while we stayed at the Ambassador for a family wedding. We remembered that experience and found this visit to be as good or better than then. Hopefully it will not be another 20 years before we enjoy you again!

   Our service was top notch. Everything else was not worth leaving the house for. We waited ten minutes to be seated (we had a reservation) because the staff just kept walking around us and we couldn't get anyone to talk to us. The downstairs room they finally put us in for the Easter brunch smelled like death. The food was bland and cold. It was $21 for two eggs, two strips of bacon, breakfast potatoes, and 2 tiny slices of gluten free toast. We decided that was the last time we will go to The Chalkboard.

   Overcooked food, service average, ambiance great. Understand the restaurant may be under new ownership, may give another shot in future.

   For it being an Easter Sunday it was such a pleasant time. My wife and I were sat against a pillar which perfectly provided a little extra privacy for, we were quietly celebrating our 2yr anniversary. Crab cake Benedict with potatoes, delicious and creamy. Chalkboard salad with salmon: every bite had the tang of fresh onion, crunchy arugula mix, and if you eat every bite with a little bit of the lightly seared salmon in the tip of your fork, the bacon will complete the experience nicely as it melts alongside the center of the salmon piece. Absolutely must try dish. The Mimosas: pineapple, cranberry and grapefruit. (Keep them coming) Overall, will recommend the items mentioned above. Skyler and the team we’re great and so welcoming. Thanks Chef and owner’s for providing a great experience. Will return.

    We opened with an appetizer, lamb chops that were chewy, however the slaw was good. My Cajun salmon had no Cajun seasoning and we do much better at home, the duck was better but there was no wow factor to the main meals. We split a wedge salad that was a little too much dressing but well presented & tasty. Our first time at the chalkboard back in 1980 and the early years was so much better. Of course all meals were written on a chalkboard but each meal was so good. Doubt we ever make it back as we were also disappointed with our last visit with friends. It’s sad.
