   We had an exceptional experience. This was our first time dining at Capital Grille, Whippany and it was perfect from start to finish. The food was perfectly cooked. We each got steak and it was cooked exactly as requested. The sides were delicious (creamed spinach & roasted mushrooms), the shrimp cocktail was one of the best I’ve had. The presentation was beautiful. We were never rushed, the pace of the dinner was relaxing and enjoyable. Our server, Luisa G. was wonderful! She was attentive without hovering, she had the perfect personality for her job, she was personable, friendly, professional and helpful. The interactions with other staff members were also very positive. We also enjoyed the quiet, sophisticated ambiance. If you’re looking for a true steak house experience this is it.

   My wife and I celebrated my birthday at Capital Grille. I had mentioned that when I booked our reservation thru OpenTable. After a drink at the bar, we were brought to our table and discovered it was sprinkled with tiny Happy Birthday confetti and a birthday card was there as well. That was a nice touch and the start of an enjoyable evening with my wife. Service from our waiter, Billy?, was top notch and the food was perfectly cooked and presented.

    Lobster Mac n +cheese was dry but everything else was great. Latifah and Nate were outstanding.
