This was either my 2nd or 3rd visit - and all were disappointing. I don't know why they even bother to serve food - it just seems like an excuse to serve alcohol. The food selection and execution were truly sub-par.

We enjoyed a very nice brunch, which included some more creative plates and traditional breakfast eats. The food, service, location, and atmosphere are all recommended.

It was fine. Kitchen took forever to get our food out. Then it was overpriced and pretty tasteless. Would not recommend

Fried chicken and waffle had a hint of rosemary in the chicken- it was good! Loved the bourbon flavored syrup. My husband had breakfast lamb stew hash. I would definitely go back. Good coffee and service.

We had a server dedicated to us but she was below subpar. We were told we couldn’t order from the bar but took forever to get a Drink order with her.

Three of us met at the Burgundian for brunch on a Saturday morning. My husband ordered an egg dish (including a side of mushrooms) that he thought was very good. My friend ordered the apple French toast. Though she thought it was tasty and that the thin sliced apple was intriguing, she fell it was a bit overpriced (just one slice of bread). Unfortunately my dish was a disaster. I ordered the avocado toast with a side of mushrooms and a side of roasted potatoes. My eating companions both received their dishes about ten minutes before I did...which may not seem a long time but is when you're the only one waiting for food to be delivered. When my avocado toast arrived, the server told me they were out of mushrooms (apparently my husband got the last of them). Since it was just 11 am, it seemed rather early in the day to be running out of something so basic as mushrooms. The server did bring the roasted potatoes that were a bit over-roasted. But the real problem was the pathetic avocado toast: one small piece of whole grain bread with at most 2 teaspoons of smashed avocado dabbed here and there on the toast, highlighted by a few sprout like things and two thinly slice dried tomatoes (like very thin sliced tomatoes dried to a crisp in an oven...no flavor at all and not appetizing to boot). This was one of the very, very rare times I complained to the server. She offered up another coffee but what I wanted was brunch, edible food. I think the lesson is "don't order the avocado toast". Instead, have the egg dishes or perhaps the French toast if you want something lighter.

Cute place, decent service, disappointing food. Super small portions, overpriced, over cooked- would not return.

I ordered the avocado toast. I literally got one very thin piece of regular sized bread cut into 4 slices to make it cover the plate for $11. Luckily I ordered a side. Should have been 2 pieces of toast or at least one thick piece of toast. Or maybe list it as a side instead of an entree? It was a little sad. But what was provided was delicious, so it was truly about the ridiculous portion size.

Extensive drink list; great food, but smaller plates; waitress had a bit of an attitude...or she didn’t like me? Regardless, we’ll be back.
