   The roast pork dinner was outstanding, the largest pork chop I’ve seen in a while it was moist and really tasty. My mum had the fish and chips which she was delighted with, crispy batter and really white flakey fish.

   Can’t recommend this place enough, the food was outstanding, loved the gin cocktails and can’t wait to go back

   very expensive for the smallest portions I’ve ever had I was honestly shocked The bill was wrong and the attempt to get this right took three attempts I’ve never left a negative review however feel very strongly that our experience was not great The waitress that served us was lovely though so felt bad at complaining .

   It was lovely to come back as it had been a while for a casual lunch it was perfect I don’t think I would come here for a celebration dinner my only negative comment was the choice of music was wrong and too loud

   My friends and I had dined many times at the Bulls Head before lockdown and I had looked at the website prior to booking to find that the main menu seemed to infer that the only options were various burgers. Nowhere was there a mention of new management and a new approach to dining, such as nouveau cuisine. Prices had increased dramatically, portions reduced at a serious level, although the food was very well displayed and tasty. Although the staff were generally attentive there was rather a long wait between courses when we asked several times if we required more drinks. Not really what four pensioners were looking for or expecting. I would suggest the website is updated soon before they lose all their old customers.

   Amazing Sunday lunch - had three courses and fully stuffed afterwards Staff are lovely

   It was my first time to The Bulls Head at Barston and my first impressions were good. We could see the chef preparing all the Sunday Roasts and they were excellently presented. However we were very disappointed the overall quality of the food did not reflect the price. We have had better roasts in the area for less money. Consequently, our waitress was very attentive and friendly. I would return for drinks but would think twice about food.

    Waited an hour for Sunday lunch. No gluten free menu for my friend. When the roast eventually arrived the meat was fine and some vegetables ok. Carrots and parsnips so hard were unbeatable.
