   Sunday Dinner was excellent. I had the roast and my husband had the chicken, both were excellent. The menu has so many great choices, we are staying in a VRBO nearby and this is the 3rd time we’ve been and each time has been really good. The staff is really friendly and we hate to be leaving soon!

   Good food, nothing elaborate, but well cooked. we shared beetroot hummus as a starter, and it was full of flavour. The beetroot added something extra to the chickpea puree. This was followed by a meat pie and sea bass, both of which we enjoyed greatly.

   Great venue for a lunch with the team. Food was lovely. Mains and lunches good value. Sides a little pricey. The team who welcomed and served us were super. We will be back.

   I was a little bit disappointed to be honest. The service was lovely but they had run out of food, the beef was tough and there was a general sense that they were over stretched and under prepared. Disappointing as we had our wedding breakfast here 10 years ago and it was great.

To be sure, Mother's day is not your average Sunday - a massive day by any metric! We'd love to have you back for our a standard, great Sunday roast lunch, which you'll find has a different energy, altogether. We're very much a dog-friendly pub, but if we're made aware of any issues related to dogs, we'll try our best to fix the problem (either by moving them or finding you a more suitable table).    reat food, lovely ambiance, and welcoming staff. We enjoyed the roast beef — the portion was generous and satisfying.

   Our reservation was at 4:45pm on a Sunday, when we arrived they were completely out of fish and chips, pasta for kids, cheesy cauliflower and one other dish. The only thing they would provide for kids was a burger or a roast but the Sunday menu was already limited so our options were slim. 3 adults ordered burgers (which on the menu noted double patties) after an extremely long wait for our drink and food the burgers arrived with only one patty. I pointed it out to the server and they went to “check with the chef”. It was clear they knew they were also Out of enough burgers to fulfill our orders of a double burger but served it without letting us know. They apologized, but again served it to us without letting us know we were being given a half portion. Service not up to par and was very slow. Continuously seems to disappoint if you go on any weekend or as they refer to as “busy” days.
