   Lovely place and good food. I found the open plan arrangement with kitchen difficult as it was a bit too smokey in the restaurant. I had a similar problem in the bar area the week before and doors had to be opened. Birthday party group of ladies were positioned in the middle of the restaurant so it was noisy for all other customers.

   Very friendly but not over friendly staff in fact one (didn’t get his name) we were having banter backwards and forwards and was joking about. Server was friendly, helpful and polite. Food was AMAZING (we ordered from the set menu) there wasn’t too much on the plate but not too little either - portions just right. Don’t know what else to say really.

   We went on Christmas Eve and had a lovely time. Cocktails were very nice and food very good Service was friendly and chatty.

   We are visiting from the U.S. and went here twice in the short time we were in Bristol! Loved the food, especially the Mezze appetizer. Delicious!

   We had visited The Botanist in York and loved the atmosphere so, as we were staying in Berkeley Square for the evening, we wanted to visit somewhere local and this was on the doorstep. The bar was bright and lively and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I had booked a table but wanted to change it due to our friends not joining us until later and this was amended by the staff until a later date with no problem at all. We enjoyed it so much that, after we had eaten, we called in again later that evening for drinks. Great atmosphere and plenty of seating, inside and out. I would recommend The Botanist in Bristol and will definitely be visiting again.
