   Lovely dinner on a Tuesday night after Easter - small family celebration meal. They were even able to adjust our time at the last minute despite being very busy. Service was prompt and excellent without ever being pushy. Food was delicious as always.

   The staff at the Boars were amazing after Open Table messed up the booking. We arrived for Sunday lunch for 8 at 12:45pm and the booking had been made for 3:15pm. Having shown them my confirmation email confirming the 12:45pm booking, they found a table, laid it and we had a delicious meal with good service. Would highly recommend.

   Food as ever good but service very slow as one waitress servinng everyonne, though not that busy. 40 minute wait after ordering dessert is far too longg for a lunch time meal. Music the usual round of pop heard a zillion times and rather loud.

   We (me, my wife and two teenage sons) went for a meal this evening as part of the main course for £12 Tuesday deal. The service was excellent, and the food equally so. We’re very lucky to have such a great pub on our doorstep.

   We have been quite a few times to the Boars in Spooner Row and have always had a lovely time. The food is very good and nice sized portions. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The Sunday Roasts are lovely!
