Positioned in the heart of Old Town Toronto at Church and Front Streets, The Berczy is set to redefine the casual fine dining experience, blending contemporary Canadian/American cuisine with Mediterranean influences. With plans for a comprehensive cocktail program, extensive wine list, and a vibrant piano bar, The Berczy is poised for a grand opening in summer 2024 and aims to become a cornerstone in Toronto's dining scene.

    It was a Thursday girlfriend night. We sat in the front section in a nice booth by the bar, the pianist and solo singer was playing, which made the start of our evening lovely. The waiters were attentive and friendly. I ordered the premium “ staccato” margarita cocktail. It was awesome. A spicy salt rimmed glass, put a nice touch on the overall flavor. $22 The food selection is very good with a full vegetarian menu on the side. We shared the truffle risotto as an appetizer, which was amazing although I don’t think it would be enough for one person. My friend had the beef sandwich and I ordered the half octopus which was great but was not served very hot. The prices are high, with high food quality and the portions are small. Ordered a great French bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, was $77, not bad. Had fun and would try it again. A little pricey, to recommend to most of my friends.

    What a beautiful restaurant! The whole experience was wonderful. The space is gorgeous. The service was top notch and helpful. The food was excellent! A must "GO" restaurant in Toronto!

    A truly awesome night…prime rib was amazing…we also had a shrimp cocktail…a vodka martini and a nice bottle of red 🤪…our server was amazing and the bartender was awesome too!

    This has become one of my favourite restaurants in the city The food and service are always great However last night my girlfriend overheard an another couple asking our server about the age difference in our relationship. Rather than not make a comment our server decided it was his place to speak about us. My girlfriend was embarrassed. I was in the washroom at the time so thankfully. I am a frequent diner at the Berczy (that was my 3rd visit in a week). I will continue you to dine there however I wanted to bring this unprofessional behaviour to your attention Paul

    It's always a wonderful dining experience at The Berczy. The food is top notch and the service is superb. The GM is a gem, and he makes everyone feel welcome and appreciated. It's a rare gift to help people forget their day-to-day and enjoy an evening out. The staff are attentive and accommodating too. With the new tweaks to the menu, Chef Angeloni's talent shines through with both the tried-and-true as well as creative (yet accessible) and satisfying, tasty dishes. The cocktails are above standard (the non alcoholic included) and beautifully presented too.
