   Tried to cancel reservation on line, website down. Tried to cancel reservation by phone, mailbox full. I believe the restaurant was (is?) closed. Not a good way to do business.

   never happened!!! they called on Saturday at 4 pm to get in touch with all the patrons to say they were actually closed 2 weeks for 'spring cleaning'. they were sorry and just found out Thursday that they were unable to serve dinner; out of luck.

   Although we had a confirmed reservation for nearly a week prior per Open Table, we arrived to find the restaurant closed for several weeks for renovations. We have eaten there before in previous years and loved it - considered it the best steak I’ve ever had - but showing up to find a cold, dark, shuttered building was not welcoming at all. I hope to visit again sometime when it is open, but will call the restaurant personally to ensure they will be open next time we are in the area.

   My man and I had the bestest time there . We had a late night reservation , and even though we were late (we came almost before the closing) the service was so great , no one showed us any annoyance. The food was outstanding . We had mussels , ravioli and scallops . AmazinGggggg ! Mussels were real big , and such generous amount ! Scallops took me away on the 7th sky ... so delish! When I made a reservation , I chose the place Mostly because of its location (the creek), but I realized when we were on the way to dinner that it’d be hard to appreciate it night . But I was wrong . Even though you couldn’t see as clearly as of course in the daylight , it was still pretty magical and unique ! Loved it there !!! Wish everyone abundance of Love and Happiness 🌸

   This was our first time in Woodstock, so we chose this restaurant based off of reviews. It didn’t disappoint. The restaurant is beautiful, and the photos do not do it justice. We were seated by the windows overlooking the stream, and it was quite romantic. The service was fantastic, friendly, and prompt. The drinks were wonderful as well. We wish we lived closer so we could go back! Such a pretty place for a special date.

   A comfortable and casual restaurant in Woodstock, NY!! Friendly staff promptly seated us at our reservation time. Delicious calamari and french onion soup appetizers. Well-prepared salmon and scallop entrees were tasty and beautifully presented. We enjoyed our table overlooking the river.

   Went to dinner for Valentine's day weekend and had an excellent time. I ordered the French onion soup for my appetizer which was phenomenal. For entree I had the chicken and creme brulee for dessert. I also ordered the salty bear drink, and my date order the steak. The staff and our waitress was very courteous, and we also had an awesome view of the Creek. I would go again soon.

   Nice venue, good music. Great Calamari appetizer! A new prep that is never had. French onion soup was good. Filet was a bit chewy. Overall taste was very good

   The entrees (salmon and scallops) were well prepared and reasonably priced. However, $12 for a glass of prosecco and $3.50 for a cup of plain coffee seemed over the top. Service was efficient.
