This was our first trip to View Boston after missing the traditional Top of the Hub for 5 years. We were pleased. The views are fabulous through the huge windows. The educational displays are amazing and there the experience is sleek and casual. There are 3 floors to explore, exhibits, indoor and outdoor spaces to view and a bar and restaurant!! Our server Ramon at The Beacon Restaurant was lovely. We purchase a package in advance through Open Table. All went well and we had a wonderful evening.

The view is terrific and View Boston well worth it. It was Easter Brunch and already 2:30 so maybe that was why the food was cold and staff seemed like they were going through the motions. I would try it again some time.

As expected, the views at "The Beacon at View Boston" were spectacular. We were there on a beautiful, sunny day for brunch. We enjoyed our views of Cambridge, the finish line of the Boston Marathon, the Public Garden, and Boston Common taking many pictures -- both during our meal at the restaurant and during our exploration of View Boston (included) after our meal. Our package included "one food item and one drink". This was slightly confusing since the menu had three sections for appetizers, brunch, and drinks. We confirmed that our shrimp cocktail was not included, given that we were each ordering one brunch item and a drink. We asked how many shrimp in the shrimp cocktail and our waitress told us four; there were actually three, although they were large. We ordered the lobster roll and lobster benedict; both were tasty, although the egg and small dollop of Hollandaise sauce on the lobster benedict were dwarfed by the large English muffin. There were ample French fries with the lobster roll and plenty of home fries with the benedict. Note that the brunch menu has only a few items: the benedict and lobster roll plus a smash burger and chicken and waffles. Of course, you dine at this restaurant for the view. Decent food is a bonus. Also, the tables next to the windows are for parties of two; larger parties are seated away from the windows.

The Beacon Bistro offered a delightful evening out! From the moment we stepped inside, the ambiance was warm and inviting. We reserved the Beacon Bistro package. The package boasted a tempting array each beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. While the appetizers we ordered were just okay, the service truly elevated our experience to another level. Our waiter, Raymond, was an absolute gem. He was attentive without being intrusive, offered excellent recommendations for our entrees, and his friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. He truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable night. We'll definitely be returning to The Beacon Bistro.
