   Great location, excellent service, my husband got something entirely different from what he ordered, and my risotto served on cold plates was still lukewarm after two attempts. Overall a memorable experience for the wrong reasons. The owner was there but didn’t show any interest in our comments to the waitress, and ignored us on the way out

   Thank you for taking the time to review us, and to acknowledge the excellent service you received during your visit. With regards to your husband being served something different to his order, there were plenty of opportunities to highlight this - when the waitress read back your order, when your plate was served, and during the mid-meal check back, we would have been pleased to address this. As for the risotto, you weren't at the table when the dish was served, this is why it wasn't initially piping hot when you came to eat. However, we had the kitchen cook you another portion, which was steaming when served to the table. You seemed to be pleased with the dish as you recommended it to the next table who were deciding what to order! The owner isn't always able to personally greet guests.

   Excellent restaurant great location, brilliant views, superb food and fantastic staff. We had family dinner and it was perfect couldn’t fault.

   I don’t often write reviews but we had a fantastic meal next to an enormous window overlooking the beach. The food was delicious - we can see it’s run by the same people as Off The Rails which never disappoints - and the coffee was just what we needed as we went for breakfast. We are both gluten free but could still enjoy the Full English Showstopper. I’d highly recommend and look forward to having dinner there one day.

   The food was poor. Little crab in the crab gnocchi and no chilli in the vegetarian chilli. Disappointing.

   The view was better than the food , staff friendly, the food wasn’t value for money . Expensive for what it was . we eat a lot around the island and it wasn’t on worth the bill. The restaurant is clean , staff friendly and views are amazing . The food let it down

    The food has mixed reviews from the family. Crab gnocchi was nice, burger was good. smoked mackerel toast average cheesy pasta was not at all cheesy and the crab and prawn ciabatta or panini was served a stale brown roll
