   Our waiter Jack was friendly and professional, always ensuring we were happy with the meal and the service. The food was delicious and well presented.

   Very busy. Long wait. But understandable given the numbers. Food was nice. But carrots were a little under cooked.

   Great spot very close to Newcastle Airport. Good ambiance and full menu all afternoon.

   Normally love going here but today wasn’t good. Long wait between courses and when the mains came they were clay cold and had to be sent back. Replaced without quibble but had clearly been standing waiting to be brought out. Replacements were better but still not the hottest. If they had been on warm plates it would have helped to preserve their heat. Clearly busy as always but expect better from this usually lovely place.

   Gorgeous food. Served by a lovely waitress who couldn’t do enough to help. Was a bit noisy but very busy Sunday lunchtime so to be expected. Lovely surroundings. Highly recommend

   8 of us visited the badger for lunch before flying to Kraków.The food was excellent,there is a deal on at lunchtime which is good value for money.Our waitress was amazing,she didn't write anything down but all the food and drinks were correct.Good place to eat .

   We visited on mothers day and found it to be quite busy. Had to wait 20 mins to order just drinks and even then we had to find someone. Once this was sorted out though we were looked after and we really enjoyed the food. We would visit again however just not on a busy day.

   Staff were absolutely excellent. Menu a little tired and in need of a refresh. A little annoying that someone had been allowed to park their Toyota Celica in a disabled bay.

    The waitress was superb. I thanked her for all her attention. We will go again and loved sitting by the open fire
