Extremely limited menu options. The oxtails and grits had mostly bone and fat. Very little meat. But I think that’s just the way oxtail works. Issues with our order were addressed promptly and courteously. That was much appreciated! I would give that part 5 stars. Both the server and chef were wonderful.

Easter Brunch ! Deviled eggs and caviar 2/10 this was my first time trying caviar, yucky and also I don’t like spicy mustard . Cinnabon French toast 10/10, so fn good. Waygu Steak, eggs and Hash brown 8/10 the steak is the 8 😂. Beef bacon0/10. The bacon was cold and they bought more and it taste old. Oxtail and grits 1/10 it was not nasty but it wasn’t anything to be hype about. Over priced for 2 pieces of oxtail and child size bowl of grits. Pink blush mocktail 10/10. Idk what my drink was called 6/10 …. Customer service slow, and unorganized but the servers are polite! Definitely need more variety on the menu. I also did not like that my reservation was for 11am but I was called at 1050 that it was pushed back to 1130 because it’s Easter. That’s a call I should have gotten at least the day before ! I would try again for the dinner menu maybe!

Honestly everything was great. Went with friends and we got the the special drink for the night. Forgot the name but it had passion fruit in it and it was delicious! We had the lobster rolls and shrimp dumplings to start. Both were great. I loved how fresh they were. The shrimp dumplings were definitely hand made and fully stuffed. I got the lobster noodles and they were so good. My other friends got the Tandoori chicken, and the ribeye. Everyone was satisfied with their food and thought it was good. We got another cocktail, the dew drop. The first was still my favorite of the two but this one was still good. It was nice and refreshing. Finally we had dessert. We had the cheesecake and the chocolate garden. I had the chocolate garden since it was such a different take on a chocolate dessert. It was good and by this point I was full and tried to eat what I could. Our server Bryan was FANTASTIC! He was able to give us a detailed description of the food and drinks we had. Overall, ambiance is great. Customer service is great. Food is great. I really appreciate the artistry the chefs put into each dish. Yes they make the food look pretty and like a work of art but it’s also full of flavor.

My friends and I did not enjoy the food at all. We sent almost every dish back due to the flavor or texture. The drinks were really good and the bartender was nice and accommodating. Our waitress was amazing and the manager was understanding regarding our concerns.

The Avery is beautiful inside. Lana was our server and was very nice, patient and helpful. I ordered the French Toast which was delicious. They didn’t have turkey bacon, only beef, so I also ordered the twice as nice chicken(wings) that came with plantains and potatoes, so yes I had A lot of food. I shared with my table. 2 girlfriends ordered the oxtails and grits and complained it was only bones and no meat. My girlfriend packed hers because she said the gravy was tasty. The only reason I rated 3 stars for food was due to their oxtail complaint, of which was not communicated to our server, so don’t blame her. My other girlfriend had the eggs Benedict with lobster and she was equally satisfied as well. The guava juice complimented the bottles we ordered for mimosas. I’m looking forward to making it back for a Friday night with the girls for a different experience. All in all we had a great time. Our booth was perfect and the restaurant was fairly empty and the music was good so it was a pleasant afternoon.
