   Lovely food, the fillet steak was excellent,staff outstanding and the room was so nice with a private bathroom, definitely be back

   Fantastic food served in an impressive pub. The staff were delightful. Well worth the money. We eat in the pub side which was nice but book a table in the lovely restaurant.

    Welcoming hostess friendly and attentive throughout our visit.The food was great. The haggis scotch egg starter, perfect runny yolk, was lovely as was the garlic aioli. The main course was mega. I had rare cooked roast beef, large Yorkshire pud, roast tatties, honeyed roasted parsnips and carrots, tenderstem broccoli, cauliflower cheese, served with a full flavoured rich, deep gravy. All was very tasty and cooked perfectly. We were offered the pudding menu. It was declined as my party was all stuffed full. A great dining experience.
