   Went to the Alderley Restaurant, Alderley Edge, for our daughter's birthday. The service was not up to the normal standard and the normally excellent Sunday roast beef failed to impress. Presentation, whilst excellent, is currently detracting from the quality of the food.

   The Alderley Restaurant in Alderley Edge never fails. We took my sister in law for her birthday and were made to feel special, despite the restaurant being absolutely packed. Service was nogt as good as usual but the food never fails to impress.

   Took my mother for her 82 birthday. Really lovely restaurant. Very welcoming staff. Beautiful food, good wine list and white linen table cloths - so my mother was impressed!

   Yes ! fathers day, a lovely day. He really enoyed the food , a bit greasy for me, I had the Haloumi wine was very expensive too. But all good service was exellent. The children loved it too. Would recommend especially because there was sport on the Tv screeens !!!

   The Alderley Restaurant never fails to please. An excellent Sunday lunch, superbly cooked and beautifully presented. Combined with impeccable service look forward to going again.

   Webt to the Alderley restaurant at the Alderley Edge Hotel and had an excellent meal. We were 12 hour late arriving but were still greeted warmly and treated courteuosly. The service was a bit slower than we had experienced previously but the restaurant was full and the atmosphere was buzzing. Superb food as ever and will definitely be returning.

   Having enjoyed the hospitality at the Alderley Restaurant at the Edge Hotel in relaxed circumstances, I was very impressed with the discretion of the staff last night, when I was having a 'sensitive meeting'. the food and service were as good as ever but the staff maintained an excellent level of discretion.

   Attended PennyBlacks in Bham, although a bit on the empty side the staff were attentive and friendly. Food was good pub standard, we had a burger and chips and a pie and mash. Both were nice and decent value at about £9 each. Only negative is that the drinks are on the pricey side but apart from that a good venue for a meal in town, if you want something quick and nice.

    Just returned from Penny blacks and really enjoyed our lunch there. Food was good service was good! We had a great lunch resonably priced to! Would def go again!
