Buffet was the only option, food was not what you would expect for such a historic hotel.

Carving station had a young man who admitted it was his first time cutting meat. He sliced the prime rib thin. The lamb was maybe a saddle. Definitely not a whole cut. Mashed potatoes were out. Asparagus might have been the star. No way worth the price they charge. Maybe the A team was at Easter brunch. The charcuterie at the bar was the best thing we ate. Stick to the bar.

The Easter Brunch at the Ahwahnee was excellent. My wife and I had a very enjoyable experience that was only enhanced by the amazing staff that served us.

The food options were very limited specially considering the high price also the buffet a lot of the food plates were empty and not being constantly refilled. The venue is gorgeous though. Overall the buffet is not even close to being worth the price in my opinion.

Overall very good. Service was excellent. Atmosphere lovely. Be forewarned: it’s a prix fixe buffet. While the food was good with a decent selection I would have liked a more personal dining experience. PS No gluten free desserts available

Dinner was lovely, the atmosphere was beautiful. They are rebuilding the kitchen so they served a dinner buffet that was delicious with wonderful option's. My family of giant boys had the prime rib, i had the shrimp scampi and polenta which was delicious. Very nice meal and excited for the hotel to have a brand new commercial kitchen soon. 100 year anniversary of the hotel 2027. Our waiter had worked there for 38 years! Incredible.

I tried to pull up menu before we went but wasn’t successful. I didn’t know the kitchen was closed for a remodel and they were only serving buffet dinners. My bad. Cuts of beef were good, but not much else. How do you screw up roasted potatoes and broccolini? I couldn’t eat either. One of two green salads was empty and not refilled. Bean soup was blah. Service was good and ambience was lovely with live piano music. Their temporary kitchen, which consisted of two huge containers placed next to the dining room, blocked the beautiful view and was not anticipated. Always an extravagant splurge, we have eaten here many times before. This time we left disappointed.
