   Made a reservation through open table and was told when I got there that they don’t take reservations and we had to wait for a table. My first experience with open table and it didn’t work.

   This is not a review of the TGI-Fridays restaurant in North Myrtle Beach,but a 1 star review of Open Table @ this restaurant. We had a confirmed Open Table reservation for 6:00 p.m. on December 24. We showed up @ 5:50 & the restaurant was locked & closed. Why would Open Table accept a reservation for a restaurant that was not open at the time of the reservation? This is most unacceptable & put us in a bad situation as very few restaurants in the area were already closed. We will not use Open Table again .

   Made a reservation but when we arrived we still had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Slow service once we got our table as well.

   Service left something to be desired. Waitress only came by three times. Order was messed up from the very beginning. Food and drinks were ordered but, never received a couple of items. I had to go to the bar to get a drink I ordered. I stood there for 5 minutes before the bartender even noticed I was there waiting. She was chatting with 2 people there. I would never recommend this location or suggest anyone go there.

   Screaming kids! Reception failed to register our visit with Open Table despite my asking her twice if she was sure it was taken care of. I was concerned because last year at another TGI in Maryland they screwed everything up. Same here!

   Food was excellent and cooked well. Service was a little inadequate, had to repeat order a few times to waitress and she had to return to change one order because their system would not accept the input. Another little problem though, my wife and I arrived first and were seated and our guests were a little later but were seated at a different table. The good thing was it was in the same section so they spotted us and came and joined us.

    I visited for Thanksgiving dinner. I ordered my favorite dish and it was cooked perfectly. My server was attentive and provided everything I needed during my meal and offered good to go suggestions. I would recommend if vacationing in the area.
