We visited on a Tuesday evening and were disappointed with the quality of food at Terre A Terre, although ambience and service were good - very friendly and helpful staff. The menu was rather pretentious and poor value - it was difficult to understand what we were being offered! My choice was really a Greek salad around a large hunk of bread (which took up most of the dish), and my partner had a mixed tapas plata - again with a reliance on of bread. The average cost for our main courses was £14.00, which mainly consisted of - guess what - bread! The side dish of chips and puddings were the best part of the meal - excellent. This was a return visit for us to Brighton and Terre A Terre after 9 years, so the menu(and cook)have changed.

Terre A Terre is an absolutely outstanding Vegetarian restaurant. The food has been expertly prepared, arriving at your table as a work of art that you need to stop and appreciate before devouring. The staff are attentive and helpful throughout the meal without being overbearing. A totally memorable experience that I will be only too happy to recreate in the future.
