   Most everything was great. Service was slow bc there was a backup at the service bar. Our server was transparent with us, which was appreciated. Bread also came slowly. Maybe it was because it was towards the end of the brunch crowd. Aside from that, our server was great.

   Nick, our server was fantastic - we were in a tent to celebrate a bride-to-be. We could not have enjoyed it more - such a great time - thank you to all the hard working employees at Terrain. Gina Gibbs

   Reception desk is chaotic. Poor layout for those waiting to be seated. Noise level was TERRIBLE. Conversation was impossible. Spouse turned down his hearing aids just to be able to sit in the room - ensuring that we couldn't converse. Food was poor overall. Great menu but poorly prepared. Mushroom soup was served barely lukewarm. Taste was not good, including being very acidic. Hashbrowns were served barely room temperature. Clearly had been cooked ahead and then not held at temperature and not reheated. "Wild" mushroom frittata contained nothing but white button mushrooms - and very few of them. Frittata was so tough that it was hard to cut it even with a knife. We had planned to take company to Terrain Cafe in two weeks and went today to check it out. We cancelled our future reservation as soon as we got home. At least our server, Amber, was pleasant and attentive.

   The mushroom soup had so much lemon in it, it should be labelled lemon soup. We have been going there for years and had that many times, go back to old recipe. My water glass had lipstick still on it. Not the usual thing there in the past, but very disappointed on thos visit today, 4/27/25.

   We loved the private cabin to eat dinner. We had great service and enjoyed the food. The mushroom soup lacked seasoning but everything else was delicious.

   As always, entering Terrain is a magical experience before you even get to the cafe! The smells and gorgeous products, books, soaps and other home items are irresistible! That said, the food is wonderful as well. Had the burger and Caesar salad with chicken - simple items but done deliciously. So many other items to choose from, but what I like most is the care taken with each menu item to make it look and taste so delicious.Highly recommend!

    We rented a tent in the Woodland Village to have dinner for 6 people to celebrate our anniversary (married at terrain on 4.21.21). It was absolutely perfect! The ambiance and decor were lovely, we were able to open the windows for the breeze, and they have great fireplaces that really make it very toasty, if needed. Much more spacious than I expected! Our food was stellar: 4 of us got the braised short rib dish which was tender and full of flavor, one person got the yellowfin tuna and another the chipotle pork chop and both cleaned their plates so also a hit! Service was awesome. I was curious if being away from restaurant could impact that but that was not our experience. Server and runners were attentive and our bread, apps, and drinks arrived relatively quickly and our meals were timed perfectly. Too full for dessert this time! Special shout out to the restaurant for surprising my husband, and our guests, with the lavender lemonade we served At our wedding! Thanks so much for a great evening :)
