VIOLÍ was initially inspired by DineAmic Hospitality Partners, David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff's, travels throughout Greece, where they acquired a newfound appreciation for the natural Greek lifestyle. Following their trip, the hospitality group opened LÝRA in West Loop's Fulton Market neighborhood and now brings the Greek Cuisine and world renowned superstar Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos to the Western Suburbs.

Although the waiter was very nice, he wasn’t attentive at all. I m not sure if it was due to him being overwhelmed. It was kind of busy but there were very long waits for him in between everything. He seemed a lot less attentive in comparison to the other servers in our section. Overall the experience was still great, I would just opt to return during a less busier time in hopes of receiving a different dining experience with my waiter.

Always a great experience here. They were super busy for Easter and were still attentive and accomdating. Our child has food allergies and the made sure they didn’t bring food near here as requested and had the seating we requested available. They checked on us very consistently. The food was delicious so were cocktails and coffee. Start to finish always perfection!

It was a crowded Easter Sunday- food came out fast, service was great, staff was super friendly and fun and everything was DELICIOUS!

The ambiance was perfect…the food was amazing and the service was excellent. What a beautiful time celebrating Easter with the Family!

Really good food and great service. Near atmosphere inside and out. Only real negative was the wine glass pour. Barely a six once pour for like $17. Pretty lame

Our first time at Violi and we’ll be back. Food was outstanding and so was our server. The lamb chops and chicken were amazing! Only gave four stars because we had to wait 30 minutes for a table that we had reservations for.

Got seated 15 minutes late to a 7:30 reservation. Got sat in a random corner after waiting 15 minutes when we came 5 minutes early. Luckily our server was super kind and very energetic which genuinely made the dining better. But I asked for a better view of the Taratsa and they gave me a horrible view. Ordered medium cooked steak and it came raw. Ordered caviar with only 5 pieces of caviar on the yogurt. was not a very pleasant experience. and a waiter dropped a glass and the shard hit a women and started bleeding out during our dining experience.
