   Good food and great service. Portions are large and the location is conviently located near lots of shopping and hotels. We will definitely be going back. Btw, we ate the caramel pancakes and omelet.

   It's not the old Tavern on Rush. My wife and I thought the food was nothing special, particularly given that our meal was $350.

   The food was wonderful. Best shrimp cocktail I’ve ever had. Steak was great; roasted corn and twice-baked potato outstanding. Service was not as great. Glass of wine came halfway through the entree even though ordered well before. After dinner drink arrived after dessert was finished.

   Spectacular experience. Everyone’s meals, appetizers and cocktails were incredible. One of best dining experiences I had all year.

   Everything was excellent!! The food, ambience, drinks and servers were great! We all loved our dishes and the spicy lobster linguine was superb!!! My sister in-law’s pork shank was also delicious!! So many choices for every taste and the dessert was amazing, the chocolate cake, wow…need I say more. I highly recommend Tavern on Rush, we’ll be back to try some other dishes and I’m looking forward to trying one of those steaks, looked so good!

If you are looking to try a steak on your next visit I highly recommend our Prime Skirt Steak. I get it often: med-rare, sliced with a side of chimichurri. I promise you won't be disappointed!    I dined here and was ROBBED! Our server, Ansil, brings out our bill which was $555. I gave him $380. In cash as to put the rest on my card. He only puts $280 down in cash in hopes I wouldn’t notice and charges my card $275. When he did this, he stayed by our table listening to see if we’d notice. He over heard and walked over to “try” and address the communication error. He then said he would give me my $100 and I did NOT receive it. He could have given it to me back in cash but instead he decides to charge it back to my bank. He stated it would be processed before midnight. It is now the next day and my bank had not received such notification. Food was great, however, watch this sneaky server! And I still tipped on the bill because service was okay throughout dinner. Just to not receive my money back. What a shame!

   Hi Stephanie, Im glad we were able to speak on Sunday and swiftly clear up this misunderstanding. As I assured you, we take any allegations regarding dishonesty or actions lacking in intergity towards our guests very seriously. A mistake was made by the server and in an effort to quickly rectify the situation he erroneously adjusted the credit card payment instead of adjusting the cash payment. We have since coached our staff on how to handle situations like this. A manager should have been involved and we could have solved this on the evening of your visit. I appreicate our conversation on Sunday, as we were able to come to an understanding of this mistake on our part. Thank you again for taking the time to speak with me.    Food was terrific, service was outstanding and the menu selections and specials were quite broad. It was very noisy on a Friday evening for a family dinner but the quality of food, preperation and service were very good.

    Noise level coming up from the bar made conversation challenging but still enjoyed our first visit to the new home.
