Tavern of Tales is an interactive board game experience, located at 1478 Tremont St., Boston, between the Roxbury Crossing and Brigham Circle T stops. We're currently offering seven different immersive, sound-enhanced game-play adventures for players at all levels as well as a range of alcoholic beverages and food to enjoy while you play.

Each game experience has been carefully selected and designed to be enjoyed by beginners and experts alike, offering a unique story line for players every time they sit down. Private game rooms seat up to five players with game masters on hand to explain the rules, establish the lore, and embody the characters. Plus they'll handle set up and clean up, so that players can focus on their adventure beyond the board.

Best place to get a drink if you're a fan of boardgames, cardgames, dnd, or really any kind of game. Nice and quiet and staff is S-tier

LOVE this place. Have been 3 times and will keep coming back! The Gamemasters in the private rooms are so great (shoutout to Aidan (Austin?) from Indiana) and there is a great selection of games to play in the public area. All the drinks I've had there are fabulous, and almost all the food is amazing-- the grilled cheese is kinda blah lol but everything else has been delicious.

We played Mysterium- it was awesome especially with the sound board. It was very approachable and easy to pick up the game if you have never played before. The collaborative aspect is also fun. Definitely will be back for more!

Carly did a great job of balancing fun and professionalism in the two experiences she hosted for us. Both games were great and Carly did a great job explaining the games/rules and answering any questions. Experiences/games: Mysterium 5-minute dungeon

Great food, sick ambience. The guided private game was very fun. I think they should charge more for it. The drinks were delicious and nerdy and fun. I had a blue one that looked like a potion. Wish it was open later, but I wish that about everything in Boston.

We celebrated a birthday and had an experience room, food and drinks and lots of fun! Highly recommend! The staff are super friendly and explain the games well!

Recommend to go for a fantastic first date or just wanting to hang out with friends playing fantastic board games. Drinks and food are so good especially their cocktail Healing Potion. Will be back!!!

Tavern of tales had mastered the BLT, with thick cut bacon and adding avocado to it! The BLAT is amazing and there nacho pretzeled bites are delicious.
