Our Story:

Tattered Flag Brewery and Still Works has been an idea in the minds of Pat Devlin, Matt Fritz, Tony DeLellis, and Ben Ramsay since the group graduated from Susquenita High School in 2000. As a veteran owned and operated business, the focus is simple - to give back to the communities around us while providing a one-of-a-kind experience. Come raise a flag with us!

A tattered flag is not just a worn piece of cloth… it has experience and character. Threadbare and frayed, it still represents the ideals and beliefs of those who stand behind it constantly seeking excellence, success, and the achievement of those goals with honor. A generously hopped, American style IPA. It's brewed with Centennial, Citra, and Mosaic hops, and it's dry hopped with Simcoe, Crystal, Citra, and Ahtanum. A dank, citrusy aroma and tropical flavor make this clean and drinkable IPA stand out. TMI PA pairs well with wings and seafood
War Bonds Stout, ABV 7.1
Our Breakfast Stout is a coffee lover's dream, as it has the aroma of chocolate and coffee. It's a creamy, smooth drinking beer that pairs well with breakfast or a rich, decadent dessert
Manghost, ABV 12.5
This award winning Triple IPA is made with Citra hops and loaded up with mangoes and ghost peppers
Aleways Remamber, ABV 5.5
Our Amber Ale is a balanced, easy to drink beer. It's red in color, lightly hopped, and has a clean finish. Our Amber pairs well with a burger and fries
Hefeweizen, ABV 5.4
Unfiltered and hazy, our Hefeweizen boasts a straw color and thick head. Heavy notes of banana balance well with the Hallertau and Tettnang hops. Hefe is a traditional German style of beer that follows the Reinheitsgebot law (only using malt, hops, yeast, and water). The "Hefe" pairs well with sausage and pretzels
Ball Gunner Black Ipa, ABV 6.1
Roasted malt balances out a heavy dose of American citrusy hops. Fans of dark beers and hopheads will find common ground in this one. Enjoy it with something spicy off the grill and some sharp cheese
Blue Raider Cream Ale, ABV 5.5
Made especially for Middletown, PA, our Cream Ale is slightly cloudy with a yellow color. It has a malty taste with a hint of lemon. With a light, creamy mouthfeel, this ale is easy to drink
Pilsner, ABV 5.2
A classic German style lager brewed with Pilsner malt and matured at cool temperatures. It features a medium mouth feel and a crisp, cracker-like flavor. The Noble hops give it a herbal/floral aroma and smooth flavor. Our Pilsner pairs well with Italian dishes and sandwiches

We have enjoyed a dinner out at Tattered Flag on several occasions, and the quality of food and service is consistently excellent! My favorite is the fish and chips, accompanied by a mule made with TF single malt whiskey.

This was our 3rd time here. Food was great as always. Service was not so great. First two times we dined at Tattered Flag we had the same server. He was great, knew the menu and even recommended drinks. Checked back multiple times to make sure we were satisfied. This past visit our server, I believe her name was Brittany, came up to our table and said she would be right with us. Several minutes later someone approached our table and asked if we were being helped yet, we said no and she said she would get someone right away. Once she walked away our server came to our table and said "I saw my manager was at your table so I figured I better come over". What??? So if your manager wouldn't have came over, you wouldn't have come to take our order?? We placed our drink order. I ordered a Diet Pepsi and took 10 minutes to get it. Rest of my table ordered drinks and received them with the ice half melted. Guess they were sitting up at the bar for awhile. We ordered an appetizer and asked for extra plates so our table could share. Well we finished the appetizer and are still waiting on our extra plates. Someone else brought our food out, and we were done eating when she checked back in with us. Thankfully we didn't need anything. I'm disappointed with the service but I will be back. I will just make sure we don't have the same server again.

The food was great. This was our second time here and we like it a lot. But the service was VERY slow. Our server was super apologetic about our experience. The restaurant obviously had nowhere near enough servers on duty that night. We were with a group and had fun while we waited. But even the drinks took forever. Yikes.

Place to check out local craft Style beers and Cocktails. Most of their beers were good their cocktails were slightly on the party punch sweet side but appreciated the Artistry they were attempting

One of my favorite spots to go for a meal or just a few beers with friends. Food is great and the beers are even better! Lots of different beer styles to choose from. Definitely recommended for date night or dinner with friends.

My burger was good. I was just disappointed that it was on a roll that you would use for a backyard cookout instead of a fancier bread.

The Manghost is delicious. The potato nachos and turkey sandwhich were good. The fancy burger was good too. The patties are smaller than typical so if you are expecting a thick burger definitely go with the double. My wife got the single which was perfect for her. We were there on a Friday night and they have live music beginning at 8. The band was good. On this particular night, service was extremely slow. Overall though it was a good experience and We'd definitely go back.

Overall excellent! Two complaints: 1) one in our party wanted to try a sampling of a wine before ordering it and was charged a fee; 2) rigatoni dinner was a small portion and should have had a side salad with it. The person who ordered this was still hungry after eating it.
