Very good food and the service was wonderful. The beet appetizer was delicious as well as our entrees. Cute place for food or drinks and convenient to the Music Hall.

Stopped at Tarry Tavern with my wife and parents while driving back to Boston from Philly and we were veg pleased with the whole experience. First off, the town itself is as quaint as it gets and the tavern was right near the river. Pulling up in front, however, we were a little skeptical as the outside is kind of plain and the building looked small. But the inside was very nice and larger than expected. The device was great, the food was ALOA very good. I had the appetizer app and my parents (81 and 84) had never had octopus before, believe it or not, and both really enjoyed it. Our entrees were all very good and the wine selection was decent and well-prices. This will likely become a regular stop for us when heading south from New England.

Pleasantly surprised by a very enjoyable meal of well presented dishes with excellent service in a very welcoming environment just steps from the Music Hall.

They were very accommodating as we hit traffic and were 15 min delayed. Our party was to be 4, but we had one cancel so they offered us a table right across from the entry. It was a cold night so they were most accommodating when I asked to move to an inside table. Wonderful food all around and very friendly staff!! I will go again!
