   Had to wait over 45 min for appetizers and then it was just warm. Also had to ask for our salads and again waited for entree which my daughter ‘s pasta was warm to cold and my mashed potatoes and shrimp cold. Did not want to send food back because did not want to wait an hour again to get it

   Very disappointing. Was looking for an experience like the 4star rating would indicate and my experience was no where close to that. Service was slow, the food took forever to arrive, and the food quality was okay at best. Will not return.

   Made reservations for party of 5 for parents and family weekend. We were not disappointed! Hotel lobby is beautiful and the restaurant had these cool paintings of celebrities which was a great conversational piece on the wall. The food was great! My chicken Marsala was delicious and I tried my daughter’s braised short rib ravioli and that was amazing. Would definitely return!

   I don't like to give bad reviews, but honestly the food was pretty bad. The ravioli was rubbery with a brown gravy on top, and the chicken marsala had an awful flavor. I'm not much of a cook, and I could have done better. It was game weekend at PSU, and we were able to get a reservation, and there were plenty of empty tables, which seemed too good to be true. It was.

   Showed up on time for our lunch reservation. There was no one there and the restaurant appeared closed. Could not get the attention of anyone at the front desk. So, we left. This was after they had called me the day before to confirm.

   The restaurant was essentially empty, which provided for a quiet setting. There are also nice murals on several walls of the restaurant. The big weakness was the food. The shrimp cocktail sauce was bland, and the shrimp not de-veined. The rest of the food was somewhat bland and not at all what was expected. I’m sorry to say I can’t recommend this restaurant.

   Best kept secret in State College. Food was delicious from steaks to seafood to pumpkin ravioli. Skip the expected locations with unremarkable food & try Tarragon. We will return!

    Given that our reservation was on one of the restaurant’s busiest nights (Friday night before the OSU football game), I was prepared to be patient. Not a big deal when the waiter forgot to bring one of our group’s salads out with everyone else’s salads. But then it took 10 minutes for him to bring the Caesars salad. Entrees were delayed another half hour. Then we waited at least twenty minutes after requesting our check and boxes for leftovers. But when the waiter approached us and said “I don’t mean to be rude, but there’s another party waiting for your table” about three minutes after I paid the bill....that’s when I decided we had terrible service. Food was average.
