We are located in the North End and we offer validated parking at the parcel 7 garage. Taranta is a Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Restaurant, and has received the City of Boston Green Business Award. It was also named one of the Best New Restaurants of the Decade by Zagat and the top 50 Restaurants in Boston by Boston Magazine. Best Pork Chop EVER! Fantastic meatball appetizers. Excellent bottle of red wine - Caliterra from Chile (Cab blend). Will be back for sure!

The food was very good overall. The pasta was fabulous, the Amazon paiche a nice change. Our waiter forgot to place the order for one of our appetizers which was regrettable, with no apology. Dessert, cannoli were fresh but bland.

Causa de Cangrejo is well beyond great, the Coccio di Pesce e Legumi suffered only by comparison, it would normally be considered superior. Pappardelle con Funghi Porchini was rich and smoky. Paiche Amazone cannot be beat. And, finally, the cicha morada glaze makes the Mini Cheesecake an experience not-to-be-missed. The non-food details here are also worth mentioning, the excellent eclectic music, the attentive and informative (but not intrusive or cloying) service, the comfortable space, all add up to a “must go” experience.

We had an amazing time with even better food! Highly recommend starting with Pisco Sours and Causa. The Fusilli Avellinesi was AMAZING and was a very generous portion!

Very impressive place. We walked around the North End afterwards and it seems that Taranta feels the most intimate out of all the other places we seemed. Food and service were excellent.

Took my wife there for Valentine's Day and it was a nice atmosphere. Good crowd and service. I enjoyed the plate I ordered but my wife not so much. The food was a bit spicy for her (she has no tolerance for spicy foods) and the salmon she ordered was dry and didn't seem fresh. Otherwise the night would have been great but obviously the evening was a bit tarnished.

The worst service I've had in a while. Went for Valentine's day which was a prix fixe menu. Took 20 minutes for our server to greet us after we were seated, took our order and never asked if we wanted to order drinks, water glasses stayed empty throughout the whole meal. Dropped the check before we even finished our deserts. Service was not representative of $110 per plate meal and food was ok.
