   the food was one of the best meals we have ever had. hats off to the chef. the service was quite slow with taking our orders and bring our drinks over they also forgot one drink. We had gone for my friends birthday and i had requested in the special requests for a bottle of Prosecco was given on arrival but nothing was given or mentioned so it kinda ruined the surprise for her birthday.

   Booked table for partners birthday and told from member of staff that we only had the table for 1 hour and 30 minutes and had to be out before that, would have left straight away but as said it was my partners birthday. Half way through meal then asked to change tables with no reason. Tables are herded together and constantly have to move chairs in to allow people past, with poor lighting levels to read menus and high background noise with music playing. Turns out that it is not a restaurant as it allowed people to attend the bar for drinks only. Food was lamb shank and a mixed grille of chicken tikka skewers, lamb chops and battered prawns....well presented and reasonable taste but not much room at table and food went cold quickly. Waited 15 minutes on a drink which was a pornstar martini with member of staff asked for a lychee martini at £12 cocktail and 2 meals and 3 drinks costing £115.....expensive for a lamb shanks and mixed grille with little or no flavour. Disappointed as the amazing things told or read about this restaurant doesn't live up to the hype.

   I visited the restaurant with my girlfriends who I don’t get to see very often so was really looking forward to our evening. The food was very tasty and enjoyable but the timing on the table was just frustrating. You don’t get the opportunity to consider a 3 course meal and a long catch up with friends because after 1.5hrs, our bill was placed on the table and we were asked to settle up and leave. We weren’t asked if we wanted any further drinks or dessert because I assume all the waiting staff are clock watching too. Timings on the table need to be reconsidered, I understand they want a turnover of customers but you won’t get customers returning if it feels like a take-out rather than a dine in.

   Amazing birthday meal. The food was gorgeous and the service by Scarlet was excellent. Would definitely recommend a visit!

   Restaurant was hugely overbooked so we were directed to the bar whilst our table came available. Lots of other waiting tables were also at the bar which was causing chaos. No chance of a drink because the single bar staff member was clearly overwhelmed with making drinks for seated guests. We were stood looking into the kitchen and decided to leave after seeing what was happening in there, especially considering the last time we visited our table was served raw chicken. We left and went next door to Chungs Chinese where we managed to rescue the evening with a great meal. Tanasha, disorganised chaos

   The food was beautiful. Very tasty and exceptionally presented. Service was great. I have to say I was a little taken back by how fast the service was. Normally I wouldn't complain but we did feel very rushed. I only managed 1 drink and we were seated and ate 2 courses and left within 45 minutes. As soon as people finished the plates were gone and a bill slapped on the table. The music was a little loud for a small dining establishment having a conversation over dinner was a little difficult. I would definitely return but I would bare the above in mind, maybe during the week it's not so busy so less time pressure maybe. Can not fault the food at all it was really lovely and the restaurant i was hoping for some more unique dessert choices as I found the menu a little generic in that course so we skipped that.

   we didn't have dinner, after being ignored for a 5 minutes we were turned away and asked to come back in half an hour as customers weren't leaving ! This is after booking two months previously and securing with a credit card .the waitress was rude. Never go there again!!

   The foods great but the service is shocking.! Waiting over an hour to be seated and then tables given away to other people! Not enough chairs ran out of knives and glasses and clearly over booked. Stressed out staff putting on a brave face while the manger is off doing shots doesn’t make a great atmosphere. Shame as the foods great, but if you want to pay Michelin star prices go to a Michelin starred restaurant so you can enjoy the ambience. Avoid as it’s not worth it anymore
