    Remains a great local seafood (Croatian influenced) jaunt. Long bar to eat at or booths or tables. Friendly funny staff.

    Great old school atmosphere. The grilled branzino, which came whole, was otherworldly and worth the work. Appreciate the Thonet chairs, classic.

    It is wholey understandable why this restaurant dates to the 19th century. We will return!

    Just a perfect spot, Wonderful people, great drinks, and excellent food. Do yourself a favor and step into one of the best restaurants on the west coast.

    This is a classic old school SF restaurant. Great bar, waiters are dressed in white coats, white tablecloths and cloth napkins. Food is fabulous - Seared Tuna Salad was amazing, Oysters were fresh and very tasty and Poached Halibut with Soy Ginger broth flavorful, filling but not overly heavy. If you haven't been...go, you won't regret it!

    We were seated in one of the alcoves, which was nice. Very experienced and attentive waiter. The food, as always, was excellent. Needed a bit more salt, but that was on the table.
