   The food is always consistent; however I think that charging $12 for water is crazy, and then a second bottle at that. We were not aware there was a water charge. Won’t be back

   I had a party of 10 for my birthday. It was so much fun, the food and drinks were excellent and we loved the bar show and the birthday surprise!

   Overall a decent experience, but the server had an edge to her. 1) One person asked for Diet. She didn’t know if their soda system was working. (It was.) 2) Another person in the party wanted iced tea. They were out or didn’t have any (confused as to which it was). 2.5) One person ordered the flight of tequila When asked which was which, she had not a clue. 3) The first person to order wanted the mushroom tamale. She said they were out of mushrooms. To which I asked is there anything else you are out of before we proceed. I’m thankful that I didn’t see her roll her eyes when I asked the question, because we would have exited at that exact moment. (Two in our party witnessed this.) 4) Wanted to use 2 cards. The bill was $300. We wanted $100 of one card and $200 on the other. “Nope”. Had to be the same amount. Seriously? 5) 22% gratuity was added because their were 5 of us. Not an issue, but I do have a problem when she points out to me how to add more if I so choose. I’m not stupid and we just sold our higher-end restaurant after 24 years. I know how this works and I don’t need to be schooled on how to leave more. Tacky. Will we return? Probably. Running back? No.

   We came for happy hour and tried about 5 of the tacos (Birria, Wagyu Compechano, Camaron Rosarita & Asado). We also ordered the Elotes, Guacamole and the Duck Confit tacos. First, the establishment is absolutely gorgeous. The service by our waiter Greg was great and the guacamole was so good. We enjoyed the Asado, Wagyu Compechano and Duck tacos the most. The elotes had great flavor, but be aware they the corn is boiled. I tend to prefer my corn roasted/grilled especially in an elote. The shrimp was my least favorite taco. The shrimp tasted freezer burned, and the sauce was lacking. The Birria taco was dry, but delicious. I’m assuming that because we ordered from the happy hour menu, it did not come with the consommé. Overall I would give the food a 3.8/5 and the service a 4/5. I would return.

   I visited the initial location in Kenner before i moved and thought it was cute. Saw images of this spot and knew i had to check it out!! Took myself on a date so i was solo. The atmosphere gives upscale Mexican restaurant. The drink presentation was super cool and the food was even better! My waiter was super sweet and his compliments made my day. I def will return here with others, or myself, in the future.

   This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. The food is always out of this world phenomenal. I could eat this food every day and be the most satiated person in the country. HOWEVER: EVERY time we've been here (approximately 4 -6 times), we have had service issues. The first time, I waited 20 minutes for our bill after eating and finally had to get a different server to get it for us because our original waitress was gone. The time before last we had a party of 3 adults and one child, had a reservation, and were good patrons. But the server added a large gratuity onto our bill that you would normally only see on a large party . Maybe she had stereotyped us for being a younger crowd- but it was NOT COOL because today we had 3 adults and 1 just turned 18 yr old and we asked our new server if the gratuity was normal and he informed us that they don't do that under 6 people. So now I'm really frustrated with that waitress. She was either stereotyping us or just a rude person. I tip well to almost any server. I'm a bartender, I understand. But that irked me and she honestly probably would have gotten a higher tip from our table had she not added the gratuity onto our bill for no apparent reason. SUMMARY : FOOD IS AMAZING. Service: Not so great
