Our business model is unusual for the restaurant industry. We believe that if we invest in the best possible ingredients and people, and focus our resources on presentation and environment, our customers will recognize the difference and will be excited to return and share their experience with others. We believe that a cocktail should be the creative expression of its author, and that a good meal must be an artistic blend of flavor, aroma and color. A true dining experience should involve an awakening of all of the senses and we hope to bring this delight to our guests...again, and again, and again.

    Overall we enjoyed our evening at Tac/Quila. Our drinks were amazing, and maybe sad to say also the highlight of our meal. My friend ordered the Jalisco Mule and I ordered a spicy mezcal margarita - both fabulous! We ordered the taco chips as an appetizer, good but not outstanding. She ordered the carne asada plate for a main and I ordered the quesadilla trio. It was all very filling and well portioned, the flavors were just not incredibly memorable. Atmosphere was wonderful, our server was nice but seemed rushed which made us feel rushed.

    The Aguachile Oysters were spectacular, especially with the salsa negra. We had the quesadillas, the short rib enchiladas and Mexican corn. Each as a step above. We celebrated by sharing Tres Leches Cake.

    This is one of my favorite restaurants in Southern California. The drinks and food are amazing — delicious vegan options — and our server was funny and attentive.

    We were excited to try this Michelin Star restaurant. Unfortunately, it was disappointing from the wait staff to the quality of the food. We had the carnitas taco plate and a side of Mexican street corn. The refried beans were the highlight of the meal. We expected a Mexican cuisine to be elevated to Michelin star quality. Sadly, we would not recommend.

    Food is AMAZING! Loved the signature cocktails. This should be an absolute must when you’re in Palm Springs
