   Not a good place if you happened to look at the menu and expect to receive what u saw. They ran out of food. The waitress was drunk and disappeared. It’s definitely a turn up spot more than a actual restaurant

   My Mother's Day Brunch experience at SZND was a mixed bag. The ambiance was cozy, with a moderately sized lounge atmosphere. However, my wife was disappointed that they were out of waffles for the chicken and waffles dish, and the service was a bit slow. On the positive side, the music added a lively vibe to the place, and I was pleasantly surprised by some off-menu items like rice and turnip greens. The fish and grits were undoubtedly the highlight of the meal; they were delicious and well-prepared. One aspect that could be improved is the setup of the dining area. The tables were quite small and low, which made it a bit uncomfortable to eat comfortably. Overall, while there were some ups and downs, SZND offered a unique dining experience with tasty food options. With a few tweaks, it could become an even better spot for a meal out.

   This was my 2nd visit. When my party of 3 arrived there were only 4 other patrons there. 3 at the bar and 1 at a table. It took 20 minutes to get 2 mixed drinks and a water. It took another 40 minutes to get food (wings, fries and 2 sides). Once we had to visit the bar for refills. We were at a table. The music was very loud. Be patient.

   First off, I was taken aback by the uniforms the waitresses had on. It was reminiscent of a Hooters but for the hood. I’m not sure if our waitress was new but every question we asked she had to go to the back and ask someone else. The food was just ok. Not good enough for me to return. We ordered shrimp and grits and catfish and grits. I ordered a drink that is on their OpenTable page that they did not have. The waitress said the bartender could make something similar and still have the correct garnishes but that was not the case it looked totally different. It was supposed to have fruit and they added candy peach rings instead. The waitress took very long with our order because she was too busy, smoking hookah, and getting people to take pictures. There were also a few people in her area that she came to when she felt like it. The environment is reminiscent of a college students vibe. I am a big tipper and wanted to give her a nice amount. But the service was so bad I just couldn’t. I hate that it was not a good experience. This place has potential but is clearly ran by inexperienced staff. This seems to be a black establishment and I wanted to support but they have a lot of work to do. I’m sure I will not return.

   The happy hour fish on Friday is a very good value. Lots of food for your money. The serving staff is nice, but super slow - Don’t come in a hurry to dine/drink n’ dash.

   Made a reservation here and when we arrived we learned you just sit where ever you want… no one was at the door, the bartender was handling the bar and people at tables. As you can imagine we waited 20-30 mins and no one even asked us if we wanted anything to drink so we left and went to Hammer Heads.

   The waitress did an awesome job the drinks where amazing the food was a little disappointing nothing major just not enough food and not the best option the place has potential just need some help

   Seems like they are short staffed. In my opinion if you are going to advertise an event catering towards a special food you should ensure that you have enough on hand. Wanted mashed potatoes as a side but was given rice without someone discussing that prior to bringing it out. At this point I need some tip money because I had to continuously walk back and forth to the bar to get drinks and water. When received the water had debris in it I’m assuming from the ice and watched with my own eyes them use the same sink they do dishes in to fill the water cups up. They should have bottles of water to mitigate that.

    I had the waffle and chicken. The food was great. The atmosphere was nice.
