It was so disappointing. It took 15 min to get a waiter, 20 min to get a glass of wine and 40 min to get appetizers (one was just cheese and bread). Table next to us who came 15 min after hs got everything right away. They kept saying the kitchen was backed up but it didn’t make sense. I asked for tuna rare and it came fully cooked. Food didn’t have a ton of flavor either. Waiter was super nice and apologized and comped a glass of wine and the tuna which was very nice but we were really expecting a different experience

The atmosphere is great. The food was slow and cold. The bread was pretty stale. We’ll give it one more try- maybe lunch but not breakfast. Hopefully it was just a bad day

We were very disappointed in our experience. When we made a reservation there was no mention that you could order from the menu only until 10:00 and after that food was only available at the buffet for $59 per person. Our reservation was at 10:15. Not only was it expensive, it was also cold or barely lukewarm. Our server was great but we felt sorry that she had to explain about the buffet to others who came after us and were surprised that they could not order from the menu. Not a good experience at all. We would like to hear back from you about why we weren’t informed about the buffet cost when we made our reservation.

HI Kathleen, thank you for your review. Our apologies for the miscommunication concerning the lack of menu offering in Sweet Waters on Easter. You can be sure we will be very clear moving forward. Hopefully you remember meeting me in the lobby upon your departure. I did reach out to you on the email you supplied me with yesterday. We want to make this right and get you back to experience Sweet Waters as you should have yesterday. I hope to hear back from you Sincerely, Jim Hollister

Food was very good. Both of us had Fish and Chips. Fish was generous in size and very succulent. We also had dinner salads - both good with excellent dressing and well dressed. Service was incredibly slow. The place was not that busy. The waiter was friendly but had a very difficult time hiding his disappointment at our ordering lower priced food.

Honestly, the view was pretty but the food was just average, especially for the price. Fish and Chips pretty tasteless, pasta had a very odd flavor to it, etc. Salads were good. Also, our waiter was very very hurried and non-attentive.

We had a business dinner in the wine cellar area and it was excellent. Semi private and all of the prices were reasonable and the food was excellent. We will use this location again.

We loved sitting outside by the river. The food was ok, sandwiches a little dry (1 chicken, 1 egg) but French fries made up for it! Service was great.

Thank you for a wonderful dinner celebrating my mom. All of our food and desserts were terrific. Love that Sweet Waters is back open. Eugene needs to utilize the river more!

Sweetwaters has recently reopened. We wanted to take a friend to a ‘Eugene’ dining experience. Though we had a reservation for a window table with a river view there wasn’t one available. The hostess was not only incredibly apologetic but worked to get one ready. Our server was attentive, positive and working really hard as the restaurant was busy. The food was fantastic. Two of us had the black cod, the other the brick chicken. Beautifully plated, hot out of the oven, delicious sides. We topped the meal off by sharing the marionberry crisp. We will be back.
