We had afternoon tea here. Some really innovative Shakespeare themed food items. Delicious food and well decorated sweet treats. The above recipe has changed since I last came, but I feel this is a better version! Impeccable service, friendly and professional.

Lovely room. We went for afternoon tea. 40 minutes after ordering and chasing our meal we were advised that new scones were being baked and our waiter apologised for the delay. They brought us all bubbles in compensation but the food still took another 15 minutes to arrive. The food was fine, nothing exceptional.

The highlight of my visit was my service from Riyas P! He was attentive and so kind. He was my best server throughout my London stay. Also of note the other service attendants were amazing. My initial visit to the hostess a few hours earlier said I couldn’t be seated for tea until 2. When I checked back at 1:15 to use the toilet they sat me without a problem. The restaurant was quiet this Easter when I visited. The desserts were unique and the rose’ delicious. The egg sandwich has corn in it which I found offputting. The roast beef was my favorite and the view of St. Paul’s and the river walk beautiful.

The food was generally up to its usual standard. However, two of us ordered the risotto + felt that the rice was undercooked. Everything else was delicious.

Overall a nice experience and fun to have a themed afternoon tea. The food itself was not spectacular, with some average sandwiches and very sugary sweeties. The service was pretty slow and took a while to get our food, after being served our teas.

From booking to goodbye, The Swan at The Globe London offers an outstanding performance for my birthday High Tea. The service & staff especially Riyas & his colleague (sorry forgot his name) who waited our table provided excellent service throughout. The food was well themed and of great quality with unique flavoured twists (the smoked bakewell & green boba, unusual yet so delicious)! Overall an Amazing experience all round. Highly recommend as one of the best in London I've had, and most certainly supercedes the high tea at The Shard by a huge margin. A well derserved Applause & Encore....Thank You Very Much!!

The Romeo & Juliet classic & cowboy afternoon teas were excellent! A lovely Shakespearean twist. The Cowboy tea was particularly suitable for those that prefer savoury foods! Service was exceptional, just the right amount of attention!
