   Seating in high traffic area near door with cold air blowing in unexpected and less than ideal for a reserved table.

   I do recommend this place, but STRICTLY for sushi lovers. We had a party of 10, and 2 of the guests were not into sushi. We asked for something simple like chicken teriyaki and rice - the 5 tiny pieces of chicken on the skewers was so tough and overcooked that we could not remove it from the stick, so those two ate a bowl of rice, and we had to hit a fast food drive through on the way home. Also, the nigiri sushi is priced for only 1 piece instead of 2, highly unusual, and expensive.

   We were seated promptly and the service was good. Food was good! We enjoyed the sushi and the chicken coconut curry. We would recommend!

   Nice quiet restaurant in downtown Greenville with the best sushi I have tasted in the city. It was great for a romantic date with a woman I had yet to meet.

   We made a reservation. The server was so rude. He didn’t even greet us with his name or by saying hello. Before we were even seated he asked us what we wanted to drink (we didn’t even look at the menu for drinks). He slammed waters down on the table and then came back a few minutes later and said, “are you ready to order?” I asked him what his name was. He said it was Joe. I told him that we wanted to order cocktails. He then called me a b**** under his breath. He was rude, short, and should not be working in hospitality. Considering the terrible service we received, we decided to leave and not even eat the food. We didn’t even bother to get another server. My husband attempted to speak to a manager but, there was not one on site. The bartender was in charge. My husband asked the hostess for a business card of the owner and she refused to give him one saying that the owner would not care about our service related complaint. We come to Greenville twice a month and I have always wanted to eat at Sushi Murasaki but, after the terrible service we received, I will never go back. There are so many great restaurants in Greenville don’t waste your time with a disrespectful rude server like Joe. We ended up going Takosushi and it was fantastic!
