About this restaurant

Sushi Mono, a fine dining Japanese contemporary restaurant, opened on Chicago's birthday March 4th, 2010 in the heart of Downtown Wheaton. We feature both traditional Japanese cuisine such as nigiri and sashimi in addition to a variety of signature blend sushi rolls and cooked kitchen entrees like Filet Mignon, Beef Rib, Sea Bass and Lobster. This combination of traditional and modern dishes offers a distinctive dining experience.
The owner renovated the building's 1932-built arch-shaped wooden ceiling into a historic landmark, which makes Sushi Mono very different than any other Japanese restaurants. The Western style décor throughout the restaurant coupled with East Asian cuisine brings to life the Sushi Mono's 'East meets West' vision of the restaurant.
