Sushi Ichimoto is a family owned restaurant. We specialize in exquisite Japanese cuisine and providing an exceptional dinning experience to our guest. Our main focus is on the freshest sushi possible, but we do offer an assortment of traditional Japanese dishes as well. We offer a sushi bar, private group dining, and catering services. We are open for lunch everyday except Sundays and dinner everyday of the week.

Second time here and great both times. Portions are generous unlike many snooty upscale overpriced sushi palaces. Neighborhood restaurant with lots of locals tells you it's great value.

Best sushi discovered thus far in Hayward....good variety, fresh. If you order the tempura however....it's pretty greasy as tempura goes....but the sushi is fresh and delicious.

Ichimoto's took the place of Ray's Sushi, Ray's was awesome. The new place is not.

I was hankering for American style Japanese food after vacationing in Japan recently. In Japan the portions are very small and often without much meat, so I was looking forward to some Chicken Teriyaki. I had that with the Combo of Tempura and it was great. My husband enjoyed his Chicken Sukiyaki. I think we had the California Crispy sushi as an appetizer, but it was a bit too much rice for me (the seaweed is on the inside and rice on the outside). I've had other sushi there that I've really enjoyed. Overall, it was great experience with very friendly wait staff.

Sushi was FRESH! I almost did not go in, because of the condition of the parking lot and building. Once inside, the super friendly staff had me convinced. The fish some of the freshest I had for a long time. Rolls were huge, and perfectly seasoned. This is where the local "natives" go.
