   It was sushi night. Excellent service and food. Right on a beach. Great music too. The only thing I would love to have my wine in glass not in plastic.

   Love the informal setting and superb view! Also loved the service of Kai, so attentive and friendly. The kalbi ribs were overdone but tasted ok..would have preferred some pink in there but i was not asked so I'm not sure if there was a choice.

   So so food, but what can or should one expect from a Shack. Excellent ambience but the food doesn’t equal quite the price, IMO.

   We had an amazing time at Surf Shack. The service was the best that we’ve had on the island and the sunset views are unbeatable. Great casual environment right by the beach. We will be going back every time we’re in Hawaii!

   Great location. Food is tasty but a little overpriced - but also not unexpected. Service was excellent.

   Couldn’t be a lovelier setting as you watch the sunset! Very family friendly, and nice staff.

   We had a great meal at the Surf Shack. The Caesar with Lobster was amazing as were the ribs. The only drawback was it rained just as our S’mores were delivered and we could not toast them.

    Our first time going to this new spot. We really liked it! It’s right next to the beach so the views are fantastic. The staff was attentive and helpful. It’s more of an elegant casual experience. You sit at picnic tables or lounging chairs. There is corn hole and make your own s’mores. The dishes are small and are designed for sharing so plan for that. Allows you to try more which is fun!! Everything we ordered was delicious. Don’t miss the sticky ribs or the Japanese sweet potato. We almost didn’t order the potato but it was so good that we ordered a second one.
