   We were disappointed the food and wine pairing that was on the menu when we made the reservation was no longer available due to a menu change. However, our waiter was also the sommelier and he suggested we pick an appetizer, salad, entree and dessert to share, then he would pair a wine with each course. The food and wines were amazing and the portion sizes were perfect! It was a wonderful experience.

   Absolutely wonderful from start to finish! We had ceviche, salad, arctic char and the vegetarian pasta. All amazing flavors and presentation. Dessert was baklava and home churned ice cream which were excellent. Top notch service that was attentive but not intrusive. The staff did what all good service teams do - anticipate what guests need and work together. Can’t wait to go back soon!!

   The wait staff was so knowledgeable and attentive. The swordfish was delicate, unlike any we’ve ever tasted, and the spices/flavors were perfect ❤️

   The service, food, and ambience were all worthy of a 5-start rating. There were four of us and we all ordered different choices, all were delicious and cook as requested. The waitress and chef also agreed to make me a 1st Choice serving of the mushroom risotto and a small upcharge since it was not on the menu. The only unfortunate situation was with a diner seated at the table next to us which was loud and very politically minded which distracted from out dining experience. We did not mention it to our server since we didn't want to allow the situation to further lesson our experience. I would highly recommend dining at the Summit is you want to experience an exceptional dining experience at the Broadmoor.

   Summit was somewhat disappointing this year. The service was good, but the food was not. We ordered a Parmesan gnocchi with mushrooms as an appetizer. The gnocchi was not like any gnocchi we have ever tasted. The gnocchi was more like mini mashed potatoes, but the mushrooms in the dish were very good. My husband ordered the arctic char. He said the char was raw inside. My monkfish dish with oysters was not good. The monkfish was overcooked and the oysters were undercooked. The best part of the meal were the sourdough rolls served before dinner. They were unique and very good served with a salted butter. But, overall, not a good dining experience especially for the price.

   Like everything at the Broadmoor the service is impeccable yet friendly and inviting. The food is outstanding and the staff will do backflips for you.

   Love the Summit, but since it's a bit more special occasion we generally only go every year or so. Food & ambience were great. I would give it 5 stars, but the service was a little off. Way too attentive in the beginning (hard to even start a conversation without a waiter interrupting) and then way too inattentive toward the end (I waited 40 min from the end of the meal for dessert!) I realize it got busier, but a bit more consistency is expected for the level of restaurant this is.

    Fantastic service and excellent quality products. The serene surroundings and elegant features of the buildings add to the wonderful service and thoughtfulness of the staff. I would definitely only stay at the Broadmoor anytime in Colorado.
