   Our 2nd visit-hoping for better food. After being seated our server handed us the menu a/wine list! Within minutes she returned, immediately asking for our order! I had to tell her we had no time to look! We travel to Italy all the time! A principle of Italian dining is not to rush! It was nit cruised so not sure why the rushing! We started w/bruschetta which was good but would have preferred I toasted bread. My veal Parmesan was made mediocre by a heavy slathering of provolone cheese rather than parmesan in Italy, hence the name! Sauce was mediocre, very little taste! A little fresh basil could improve the appearance + flavor! Just do not understand why simple recipes are not used!

   Food was not good. Steak was fatty and salty. Pork made my husband nauseated. Soup and bread were edible. We wont be going back.

   The food and atmosphere were both good. Our waitresses was great. The portions were kind of small, and they don’t bring bread to the table, which we thought was unusual for an Italian restaurant. Overall it was good and we would go again.

   Our dinner at Sugo was amazing! The food came out in a timely manner and was very delicious. The appetizers were a perfect start — the bruschetta was fresh and bursting with flavor, and the calamari was perfectly crispy without being greasy. But the real star of the night was the veal Parmesan. Tender, juicy, and smothered in just the right amount of sauce and melted cheese — it was honestly the best veal Parmesan I’ve ever had. If you're a fan of classic Italian done right, Sugo is a must-visit.

   Wonderful! Everything we ordered was delicious! Favorite appetizer with the best flavor combo ever- mozzarella with pistachios and pesto

   I love having another establishment in Tuscaloosa that accepts reservations! The location, service and food are great. I had the salmon dish and it was delicious (try the polenta!!). I really appreciate having the menu labeled well for gluten friendly options. Having tables right outside the kitchen is a bit awkward, though. I understand they are trying to do the best they can with the space they have. But, when you are seated at the table right outside the kitchen, it can detract a bit from the dining experience. All things considered, it was a busy night and we were very pleased with the service and food. We'll be back!

   Everyone working there was lovely. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions to help us decide. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The food was delicious. The manager came over to wish my mom a happy birthday and offered a free dessert. We will definitely go back.

   Such good food. The meatball appetizer.. the polenta. Amazing!!!! We built our own pasta and the pesto was so good.. so was the Arrabbiata. Service was also fantastic. Such a great meal and I try to eat here every time I visit.
