   What made the entire experience extremely uncomfortable was the fact that our waitress, who was an older Hispanic lady with a brown tint to her hair color started rushing us to leave as we where both enjoying our meal and conversation. Our waiter must have left for break because when she came back, she made the comment "wow you guys are still here? I left and came back and your still sitting there" she even continued to say that "you all would need to leave soon so I can have my booth back". During our meal, she started to use a small vacuum directly by our table to signal us to leave. Her gestures where so outrageous that my colleague asked if she wanted us to leave, in which she replied "no, but I will need that booth back soon" this was such a shame to hear especially since there was no one waiting for our seat. Another comment was made when we where eating and the waitress kept rushing to take our plates, when we asked if there was a problem, she stated "I need to get these dishes to the dishwasher before they leave, I'm trying to clear off my tables" As a stated in the beginning, the food and atmosphere was great, however the service was extremely unprofessional and had a disgusting nagging vibe. No matter how good the food is, this type of unprofessional behavior alone will deter even your best guests. If there is an issue with the dish room being understaffed, I know several college students who would love to work there part time. Please address these concerns with your employee so that she does not continue to deter patrons from you place of business.

   It's a Kansas City staple! Old style restaurant w/ pictures hanging on the wall from over the years as well as stuffed chickens. Food is great, it's family style so come hungry.

   I don’t frequent Strouds often but This is my second time going to this location. I have to say ok food but the customer service is lacking. When your waitress shows a personality to those around you but rude upon numerous times to your table, never ok. I think I will stick to the north location from now on when I do go.

   Our 3 meals were chicken fingers, dark meat, and mixed. All were done just right and plenty to eat with mashed potatoes, green beans, and cinnamon rolls. It is a craving one gets every so often that brings you back for some good food.

   From the moment we walked through the front, we knew we shouldn't go. It has such a horrible stinch walking into the building. The service was horrible and the food left a lot to be desired - compared what it "used" to be! I was up sick all night after we ate there. Even the restroom was disgusting dirty and stinky! I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone!

   Chicken was moist but not a lot of flavor. Waitress was awesome though and having never been there she was very helpful.

   I have ate at the NKC strouds allot. And the food is amazing. This Fairway strouds just seems ok. Chicken pieces are small not big pieces of chicken. The chicken legs where very small. But the prices didn’t shrink. Hope they go back to the old standards of quality and overall sizes.

   Stroud's has been a favorite for at least 40 years. It's always great - and a special place to go to just for an everyday meal. Nothing fancy ... but you know you will always have a satisfying experience.

    Great food and service as usual. The waitress was outstanding - she pointed out the happy hour drink specials and took extra effort to ensure we had a good meal. I only get to KC once per year, and dinner at Strouds is always a treat.
