   I went to Stoney River on 9/7/19. I arrived with my sister around 6:45 PM. I was told there would be a 45 minute to an hour wait. I expected the wait. That was not a problem. When we were seated, there were three people from the wait staff who came. One was stating that someone would be there shortly. The next person took our drink orders. The first person came back because the ticket wasn't turned to indicate the order had been taken. Then our actual waitress, Annaleigh came. She was very pleasant. My sister asked about a drink and decided to order it along with our appetizer. I needed a minute to make my final decision. When she came back she took our order I told her it was extremely cold. She said they get lots of complaints about how cold it is. When our entree came out, I was already finished with my tea. I didn't get a refill until I got my check. My sister began to eat her salmon. It was good at first, but when she got to the middle, it was too rare for her to eat. She didn't send it back. I asked my sister about the cocktail that she ordered when we ordered our appetizer. We were almost finished eating and she still had not received it. When Annaleigh came back to the table, my sister asked her about it. She said she would check on it. When were finished eating, she finally comes back with the cocktail. At this point, my sister told her she didn't want it. She took it off the ticket. This was our first time at Stoney River. We were both looking forward to it because we had heard great things. I knew the dinner would be rather expensive, and I expected above average service. I'm extremely disappointed and would not recommend it to anyone. The price did not match the service. Check #1220, Table 74/3, Trans time 8:43.

   Excellent service by Lauren. Food was awesome. Every item was fresh , huge quantity and tasty. They brought slice of cake to recognize friend's birthday. We had a great evening.

   Stoney River is a great place for lunch or dinner. It’s near my home and I dine there quite frequently. The food is fabulous and the menu is diverse enough that you won’t get tired of it. While the steaks are high quality and delicious, I often lean toward a seafood dish. My favorite seafood entree is the sea bass prepared in a ginger soy sauce with sautéed spinach. The tuna and trout are also delectable. The fried shrimp are very large and the portion is large. My relative loves the coffee cured filet mignon. Best appetizers include steak rolls (like philly cheese steak in an egg roll) and lobster bisque. I can’t go without also mentioning the Bistro Chicken and meatloaf, both of which are delicious and will provide you with leftovers enough for a second meal. The restaurant doesn’t mind substituting sides or preparation modifications. Sometimes I like the casual atmosphere and dining in the bar. On top of all this is the great service provided by Landon. He waits tables, but lately has more often been one of the bartenders, prompting me to opt for bar dining. He knows his customers and remembers little things like the cup of ice I like to get after my martini has gotten less chilled. He watches carefully and attends to his customers as their tea glass needs refilling, etc. Other great servers I’ve experienced are Sondra, Allie, Logan and Patrick. Give it a try if you haven’t yet.

   Food and service is always impeccable. This is my favorite place, I know I can always count on a fabulous experience!

   This is not our first visit and definitely not our last. The hostess greeted us with a smile and continued a welcoming attitude when she seated us, timely. Our food was superb as usually and the price was not too expensive for the quality and quantity of good we received. Outstanding!!
