STIR is the perfect restaurant to sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters, enjoy a night out, or meet for lunch. Located in the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo complex, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Great food starts with fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, and our signature raw bar is stocked with fresh oysters and seasonal seafood.

STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure.

We made reservations and were seated right away. Great service, waitress waS very nice. Food was good. Kids were disappointed with the mac'n'cheese, but the burger was good.

Stir was amazing. Everything was a 10/10. The steak frites and oysters Rockefeller were some of the best dishes I have ever had.

We ate both dinner and brunch here! It was so good! The service was impeccable as well ! This is a true gem in Chattanooga!

Great drinks & attentive service by Ella. Homemade tonics add a great touch. The expresso was perfect. Halibut was super dry/overcooked. Otherwise, steak & burger were perfectly made to order. Oysters were nicely shucked & chilled. Restaurant is spacious & welcoming. Only request is for Open Table to specify which exact parking lot number is the one that will be validated. At least 3 in the immediate vicinity, and for those not familiar with downtown, it's not the Choo Choo lot. Station Street is closed off Market Street.

Our server remembered us from a couple of weeks ago and remembered exactly how and when I like my coffee! Our request for a booth was fulfilled and a private booth was waiting for us even though we arrived early. Much attention to personal service! Food all excellent and very fresh.
