We ordered three of the 8 oz filets. Two were very good. The third was thin and had way too much gristle to be called a filet mignon. Spitting out inedible meat reminds me of a sirloin at Applebees. The salad bar was great, but where are the imitation bacon bits?

Pretty underwhelming experience. The food was just okay—definitely not worth the price. Service was very slow despite the restaurant being nearly empty. Wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

We went to celebrate our 38th anniversary. The lobster was cold. The porterhouse steak was ordered medium rare, came well done. The servers were good brought out a new steak- a pasty grey thin piece of rare meat 🤦‍♀️. For as much as the server tried, we will never go back. It is too expensive to have another bad meal.

Great food, excellent menu with a huge diversity of choices. Service was top notch, attentive without being intrusive. Salad bars like the one here are kind of rare these days, this one wa excellent. Unfortunately, like almost every restaurant these days, the noise level was overwhelming!

I am a 69 year old female. I have to make sure that I eat healthy. I tried other menu items but most were deep fried and I had problems with the amount of oil. So I finally found that you had Shrimp Cocktail with an incredible cocktail sauce homemade. I was really happy with that and I was looking forward to it. Now you took it off the menu. I had no other options to try to eat healthy. Had the salad bar instead and found it lacking in fresh ingredients and boring. Not at all what the original Steak and Ale was years ago. My husband enjoyed his meal. Server was excellent. I make the reservations for dinner. We will not be back.

Hadn’t been to a Steak & Ale in this century. Took a chance. Amazing menu and wine list with many premium wines by the glass. I had the Caymus Cabernet at $50 per glass because I really love it and really only wanted one glass. The salad bar was fresh and I hadn’t seen one since COVID. The service Langston and his team provided was efficient and friendly without being cloying or intrusive. The food, on the other hand, was mixed. We ordered a burger that arrived and wasn’t what my friend ordered. They cheerfully fixed it and within minutes, the correct one arrived. I ordered the pan seared walleye and it was old, smelled and tasted fishy and wasn’t good at all. My other friend ordered the fish and chips and that was amazing. Having worked in the food service industry for over 20 years, I hardly ever complain and really never send anything back. The waiter noticed that I barely touched the fish and asked if it was ok. So I told the truth. The manager Jasmine came over, was delightful and really made it right. It was taken off the bill and she said she hoped we would come back in spite of this. It was handled so well that absolutely we will be back.

Salad bar was great. Other than that I wouldn't say much else. For the price of food and drinks, in my opinion would have had better food going to a fast food joint. This is my second time their since they opened and definitely not impressed.
