A welcoming contemporary restaurant with a touch of rustic charm, State Street Provisions is today’s answer to the taverns that once offered respite to the fishermen and tradesmen who worked in Boston’s bustling Long Wharf. Historically inspired but forward thinking food and drink menus feature fresh ingredients from near and far, while the comfortable space meets the needs and passing fancies of residents, workers and visitors alike. State Street Provisions is located at the intersection of State Street and Atlantic Avenue on Long Wharf, one of Boston’s most storied landmarks. Breaking ground in 1710, the Wharf was a vibrant hub for the Colonial U.S. shipping industry and originally extended nearly half a mile from the shoreline at Faneuil Hall.

    The food and beverages were excellent! The oysters were fresh and flavorful. The staff was attentive and helpful. They made our experience for Easter brunch a wonderful one.

    Great place for casual dining. LOVED the dollar Welfleet oysters, and the mussels were excellent. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Would definitely come back !

    Love this place. Not a big menu but what they do have is done well. Attentive service and lively atmosphere. And the oysters!!! Close to the Aquarium station for those without a car.

    Our server Esteban was incredible! We had a reservation and were sat immediately. Our steak came out a little rarer than we would have liked. Our server was completely understanding and took it and brought it back perfectly cooked! Will definitely be making it a regular date night spot!

    Boston vibes. Great view of state street. Seems like a tourist spot. Food was just ok. Seafood was good - oysters and shrimp but limited. Menu overall is small. Wine was good. Service was slow. They do validate parking.
