   I thought it would be fun to do the Starlight Dinners - sleigh ride up the mountain and dinner. By the end of the evening I was sorry we had gone. At $90 a head, the food was a huge disappointment. Both my husband and I ordered the elk tenderloin and what we were served were three small overcooked pieces of shoe leather. My 12 year old son had the mac and cheese that came out looking like it had been leftover from lunch. At least the stars were pretty to look at on the way up.

   I was looking so forward to this evening. It was a complete waste of time and A LOT of money. We started with drinks which were terrible. I had a martini and couldn't finish it because it was just straight vodka basically. They then brought us some bread that was cold followed by a long break. Two shrimp and a spoon full of slaw were next ... Followed by another lengthy break, was a small but decent salad or soup. After another really long break...our dinner finally arrived. I ordered scallops. They were only cooked on one side and still pink and jellyfish like in the middle. My sons order Elk and said it just ok... Husband got the pork chop and said it definitely not the best he had ever had. Not what you would expect from a $90 meal. We had to ask a couple of time to refills. They weren't crowded so I'm not sure of why there was such a lull in between courses. The food was absolutely the worst we have had in Breckenridge. I had a grilled cheese for lunch from the grill at our resort that was hands down better than any we had tonight. The sleigh ride was fun for a few minutes, but the thing that pulled us was spraying snow all over us. So you couldn't really even look around for try to hide from the flying snow and stay warm. Definitely wish I had this to do over. Do not waste your money or time with this.

   Started off badly with sleigh being late and bar about to close so we had to wait in the hallway for 30 minutes. Sleigh ride was fun and the dinner venue is lovely. We booked on Christmas Day and were hoping for something festive but there was little note taken that it was even Christmas. Bread rolls were stale, appetiser had been plated and refrigerated with sauce for hours. Main was ok. They hadn't received their desserts so we were offered cakes instead. All the meals were like they had been mass prepared with minimal attention and care. Such a disappointment.

   We have been to several starlight dinners over the Years and this time the food was a major disappointment. Four courses of which you usually get to choose at each course. Chefs choice appetizer was one shrimp and a couple of forkfuls of salad, tasted fine but tiny, second course soup or salad, salad was lovely and my husband had the soup which he enjoyed. Main course I choose the salmon and risotto, salmon was overlooked and very thin and small, risotto was hard and undercooked, desserts, even though the menu listed choices of which I was really looking forward to creme brûlée but on the night the chef decided to have a desert table which was various slices of heavy cheesecake or carrot cake, not much effort on the side of the chef. Overall meal was very disappointing given the price of 90$ per adult. The sleigh ride as always was fun and the ambience was relaxing and very enjoyable. Didn't see our server much and the "manager/head waitress" went around asking was everything ok but this was more lip service than genuinely interested, was welcoming and didn't linger.

   Good experience... try to do it on a clear night so you can see stars. Gas smells from the cat are a little strong. Restaurant is good and food was good. Just felt it was a little overpriced for the experience.

   We had nine family members in our group. Overall our group were satisfied with the food. Two of us had salmon and we had better salmon in other restaurants in Breckenridge. Some of us had drinks and wine and they were very good. The menu selection, which was in the package deal was good. Overall, the price of $89.95 was quite high plus drinks and wine were very high. I paid the entire bill which was over $1,,000, including a 20 % gratuity that was placed on the bill.

   My wife and I had a great time up on the mountain and the sleigh ride was a fantastic touch. It was extremely cold but the staff was well prepared with hot chocolate and warm, wool blankets. Dinner was fantastic and the life music was just right and a great touch. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable and the food was fantastic. While there were a few kids at our seating, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for little ones. I think it's a better fit for couples looking for a unique, romantic experience.

   We went on the 5:30pm reservation (1st trip) & they were not ready. For the $85/head price tag, I expected a better experience. The sleigh was hooked to a snow cat & if you do not want to be sprayed with snow, ride in the very front of the sleigh. It is kid friendly. The views are great. The main dishes were tastey. The deserts were disappointing. The starters were ok.

    The food was horrible, the ambiance was ok but defiantly nothing special. Will never do this again. Very very poor. The Cook family & guest.
