The Stagecoach Tavern at Race Brook Lodge dates back to the mid 18th century. Our candlelit Tavern boasts hand-hewn beams and wide-plank floors and it has been a warm and convivial gathering spot for friends, families, and lovers for over 200 years.

The ambiance of our historic tavern is truly unmatched, with features 6 private dining spaces, some with their own fireplaces, as well as additional fireside tables on the rustic Pine Grove Porch, and ample outdoor dining options in the Backyard or on the Front Patio.

Our kitchen team draws inspiration from their diverse backgrounds, creating dishes influenced by French, New American, Brazilian and Italian cuisines.

Excellent food from the new chef. Love the way they've creatively set up private "rooms" for dining, well worth the upcharge.

This restaurant is a fun surprise. Everything was excellent. It’s getting harder to find white tablecloth restaurants that don’t stick very closely to the script. The atmosphere was tasteful and fun at the same time. Every bite was delicious. Our server was perfect.

It was a Valentines Day Sunday Brunch & all I asked for was “near the fireplace” - beautiful private room with comfy chairs fireside and a lovely little table near by. Very candlelight and private. Brunch was very good, service lovely and the coffee was a little too “dark roast” for me. Otherwise - go there.

Delicious food served by a pleasant wait staff in a quiet relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect way to celebrate my husband’s birthday.

We absolutely love the ambiance here. The history behind it is a must-read. Very special place.Food and drinks were excellent. Due to the priciness, we won’t come too often but it’s worth it when we can afford it!

We love this place and have been going for years.They have a new chef but the food was great and you can't beat the atmosphere. The service could be better but I am sure they will improve with time. We will definitely go back.
